What is CargoLayout?
A web app that works out how pallets and packages fit in a vehicle and shows the result in 3D, with volume, weight and remaining space.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in up-to-date Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. A computer is recommended for 3D work; on a phone you can review projects.
How long is the trial?
30 days from email confirmation. You can request an extension from your account area.
Do I need a credit card?
No. The trial is free and never turns into a paid subscription on its own.
What happens when it ends?
Your account becomes read-only: you can view and export projects but not create new loads. Data is not deleted automatically.
Are my loads saved?
Yes, in your account, and you can reopen them from any computer. We recommend exporting important plans.
Can I export to PDF?
Yes, from any saved project via "PDF report".
Does the plan guarantee a compliant load?
No. CargoLayout is a planning aid: payload, axle loads, stability and load securing must always be checked by whoever organises the transport.
How is my data handled?
We use your name and email for your account and service messages. Details are in the privacy notice.
Will it become paid?
That is the plan. Before any paid plan you will receive terms and prices by email at least 30 days in advance, and it will be your choice.
Are "coming next" features included?
Not yet. We announce them on the What's new page when they ship.
