Beta licence
LC-CARGO is decision-support software for logistics planning. Simulations and generated results do not replace technical checks, safety controls, professional assessments, or obligations under applicable rules on transport and cargo securing.
1. Experimental nature
CargoLayout (LC-CARGO) is offered as a free Beta for evaluation. Features, interface and availability may change, stop or be withdrawn without notice, within the limits of applicable law.
2. Licence grant
LC GROUP s.r.l. grants the user a free, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Beta software under this licence and applicable law. No licence is granted to trademarks, source code or other IP beyond authorised use of the service.
3. No continuity warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Continuity, freedom from errors, timely updates or indefinite retention of projects are not guaranteed. Malfunctions, interruptions and temporary data loss may occur.
4. Independent verification
The user must independently verify simulation results before any operational use. The software does not certify load plans, capacities, stability, securing or transport compliance. The user remains responsible for checking weights, dimensions, vehicle capacity, cargo securing and applicable rules.
5. Prohibited uses
Unlawful use, unauthorised access, API abuse, compromise attempts, security bypass, abusive automated registration and any activity harming third-party rights or system security are forbidden.
6. Ownership
The software, design, trademarks and related IP belong to LC GROUP s.r.l. or rightful owners. The user acquires no ownership of the software.
7. User-submitted data

8. Term and termination
The licence lasts until terminated by the user or LC GROUP S.R.L., or until different commercial terms take effect after the required notice. On termination the user must stop using the service and may request export or deletion of data under applicable rules.
9. Updates and changes
LC GROUP S.R.L. may update the software and this licence by publishing a new version. Continued use after accepting a new version applies the updated terms.
10. Liability limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, LC GROUP S.R.L. is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, business interruption or operational decisions based solely on simulations. Liabilities that cannot be excluded or limited by law remain, including wilful misconduct or gross negligence where required.
11. Personal data protection
Personal data is processed under the Privacy notice and the GDPR. This licence does not replace the notice or create a legal basis beyond what the notice states.
12. Future commercial terms
Beta registration and initial use are free. No payment is required during the Beta. There is no automatic conversion to a paid subscription and no charge without explicit consent. Any commercial plans will be announced at least 30 days in advance to the registered email and in the reserved area, with effective date and new terms. The user may decline, stop using the service and request data export or deletion under applicable rules. Lack of consent never authorises charges.
